What is IPTV?

IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) delivers video and audio over IP networks. The viewing experience depends on connection stability, latency, packet loss, Wi-Fi quality and stream bitrate, as well as your advertised internet speed.

What connection do you need?

There is no single minimum speed that suits every stream. HD and Full HD need a stable connection; 4K usually requires more bandwidth. Packet loss or Wi-Fi congestion can cause buffering even when a speed test looks good.

Recommendation: Connect your TV or TV box with an Ethernet cable where possible. For Wi-Fi, stay close to the router and use a less congested frequency band if available.

What to do when playback buffers

Pause large downloads, restart the router and player, and compare with another connection. This helps identify whether the issue comes from your local network, internet connection or stream source.

Speed test

Check latency and connection stability as well as download speed. If possible, test on the same network used by your IPTV device.
